Bassano Minor Hockey - Refund Policy

BASSANO MINOR HOCKEY REFUND POLICY

Registration will take place prior to season commencing each fall. People are encouraged to register early so that Bassano Minor Hockey will have a clear idea of anticipated number of players, teams and ice requirements.

The executive of BMHA reserves the right to refuse an application for registration should the applicant not fulfill the requirements.

Registration fees are due at the time of registration. Post dated cheques and other arrangements can be made by contacting the treasurer. BMHA will determine the fees on a yearly basis. All fees must be paid by September 30 of the current year or a penalty will be applied.

NSF Cheques:
Upon receiving a NSF Notice, the Treasurer will contact the parent/guardian and determine when payment can be made. Applicable bank service charges will be charged to the member. If payment is not received, the Treasurer will contact the coach/manager to advise them that the player is not eligible to participate in team activities, including practices and games, until payment is made.

Monies held back are to cover the various applicable fees from Hockey Alberta, including insurance. Remaining fees are prorated to cover the cost of ice time and referees used by the team.

All prorated refunds will be based on the hockey year, (Oct. 1 – March 30 six (6)months), and any withdrawals after January 10 will forfeit their refund.

Reimbursement is not mandatory but will be considered on an individual basis if the member submits a request in writing to the Board of Directors.
(Refunds shall not include the cost of insurance as insurance is non-refundable).

SKATING CLUB REFUND POLICY

No Refunds will be given after the 1st lesson unless it is for a medical reason. If Skate Canada registrations have been completed at the time of the refund request, the refund, if granted will be less current the Skate Canada fee.

Requests must be given in writing, and include a copy of a Doctor's note.

All requests other than medical must be submitted to the Bassano Skating Club Board and will
be issued at their discretion.
