Calgary Hornets Lacrosse Club - Refund Policy

Policy: Withdrawal from Spring Box Lacrosse Program

Purpose: To identify all conditions regarding refunding of monies to players.

The process of evaluations and team setting incurs significant volunteering efforts and substantial operating costs. In the event that withdrawal from a program is necessary, the following course of actions will apply.

MINOR BOX PLAYERS (HORNETS)

$100 withdrawal fee will be assessed on any player withdrawing from the program prior to the commencement of tryouts/evaluations and up to the start of the 2nd evaluation.

$150 withdrawal fee will be assessed on any player withdrawing from the program after the 2nd evaluation and up to the last evaluation.

$175 withdrawal fee will be assessed on any player withdrawing from the program after the final evaluation.

NO REFUND will be provided to any player withdrawing from the program after league start-up, except in the event of injury (please see below).

MAJOR BOX PLAYERS (WRANGLERS AND CARDINALS)

$125 withdrawal fee will be assessed on any player withdrawing from the program prior to April 1.

$200 withdrawal fee will be assessed on any player withdrawing from the program between April 1 and league start-up.

NO REFUND will be provided to any player withdrawing from the program after league start-up, except in the event of injury (please see below).


NOTE: ALL FEES MUST BE PAID PRIOR TO ANY PLAYER BEING ALLOWED AT NEW PLAYER CAMPS, TRYOUTS OR EVALUATIONS. IF FEES ARE NOT PAID, THEM THE PLAYER WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO PARTICIPATE UNTIL SUCH TIME AS THE REGISTRATION FEES ARE PAID IN FULL.

IF A MEMBER HAS CHOSEN A PAYMENT PLAN FOR THE REGISTRATION FEES, THEN THEY ARE ELIGIBLE TO ATTEND FLOOR TIMES. AT ANY TIME WHEREIN THEREIN THERE IS A NSF PAYMENT EITHER BY WAY OF CHEQUE, CREDIT CARD OR OTHER PAYMENT METHOD, THE PLAYER WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND ANY FURTHER FLOOR TIMES UNTIL SUCH TIME AS THE FEES ARE PAID IN FULL.

Injury withdrawals received are subject to a deduction of /HORNET/ALA/CDLA/RMLL costs incurred for the registered player. Please contact info@hornetslacrosse.com for further information.

After evaluations have concluded a lack of interest or change of sport will not be grounds for a refund.(Minor or Major players)
