Red Deer Ringette Association - Refund Policy

Reimbursements
1. Registrants withdrawing from the Ringette program will be reimbursed their registration
fee less the administration fees set out below.
2. Administration fees to be charged for withdrawal from the program are as follows:
Withdrawal by August 30, 2018 – charged 10% of total registration fee
Withdrawal between August 31-November 15, 2018 – charged 50% of the total registration fee
Withdrawal after November 16, 2018 – charged 100% of the total registration fee
3. Concessions may be made for first-time registrants who withdraw after participating in
less than four (4) ice times (practices).
4. Concessions may also be considered for registrants who withdraw for such reasons as
a medical reason or moving away from the area. A written request for reimbursement
must be forwarded to the Association. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case
basis with such decisions being the responsibility of a Committee made up of at least
three members of the executive. It is recommended that the Registrar and the
President or Vice President be two of the members of this Committee
