Sherwood Park District Soccer Association - Refund Policy
The Sherwood Park District Soccer Association is a non-profit organization. The Association strives to maintain the lowest possible fees and ensures that our members receive the highest level of soccer programming possible.
The Association incurs an administrative cost for each player during registration including but not limited to staffing, credit card and debit fees, and equipment and uniform expenditures.
It is because of these costs that the SPDSA adheres to a strict refund policy.
1.To receive a refund from the Association, the member/parent must fill out the refund request form completely and within specified time constraints. Refund forms can be found on the SPDSA website at www.spdsa.net
2.Refunds requested prior to May 15 for the Outdoor Season and November 10 for the Indoor Season will be subject to a $50.00 Administration fee.
3.Refunds requested after the season has commenced, but prior to May 15 for the Outdoor Season and November 10 for the Indoor Season will be subject to a $50.00 Administration fee, plus a pro-rated discount based on number of games played by the team.
4.Refunds requested after May 15 for the Outdoor Season or after November 10 for the Indoor season will be subject to a $50.00 Administration fee, plus a pro-rated discount based on number of games played by the team, and will only be considered with a Doctor’s note.*
5.For Phoenix Players, in addition to the above $50.00 Administrative fee and guidelines, once the player has accepted a spot on a Phoenix team, all Phoenix refunds are subject to a non refundable fee of $200.00.
The refund request form must be completed in full and returned via email to email@example.com or fax (780-464-5821) to the SPDSA Office.
Any form after the aforementioned deadlines will not be processed without a doctor’s note.
Please note that the timeline for receiving refunds will be 4 to 6 weeks from receipt of refund request.
A $50.00 fee will apply to any NSF cheques received by the SPDSA.
