What is the best night of the week for you to attend league wide ZOOM calls? We plan to do a regular monthly online meeting of all officials across BC and Alberta as a way to keep all our officials on the page.
We encourage ALL officials to continue with Hockey Canada as well as HSL. We have a very strict rule at HSL that we do not want you to cancel any Hockey Canada games to take HSL assignments. We prefer you to take the Hockey Alberta assignments first and then fill in around that schedule with HSL games. Our whole goal is to co-exist peacefully and give our officials an extra development opportunity. Please acknowledge that you've read and understood this.
What is your officiating experience? Number of years and highest level.
What is your Hockey Alberta Referee Number? ( This is only to verify you are a current official) If not H.A. registered, please enter N/A
What is your B.C. or Alberta Health Care Number? We require this for our insurance company.
Do you have a reliable vehicle?
What size of jersey do you require? S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL or N/A if you already have a jersey
Are you able to overnight in distant locations. Our referees that are available to travel may work remotely in areas such as Banff, Jasper, Big Valley, and/or opposite zones that you reside in. Please indicate that you'd be willing to do this often, or only once or twice etc as well.
If you are a returning HSL official, please enter your jersey number. If you are new, please select up to 3 preferred numbers. We will assign a number available to one of your choices. Range can be 2-999
Do you know any other officials that may be interested? If so, please forward their name and contact info
